First, don't say anything but Scriptures.
Everything else will be a snare that takes us into bondage! Talk faith and Scripture and you will not be snared by your own words.
Proverbs 6:2 KJV 2 Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.
Second, know that God's word is a settled issue.
There is no room for debate. In addition, it is not settled in someone's back yard. It is settled in heaven.
Psalms 119:89 KJV 89 For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
Third, know that even your best friend will break his/her word with you.
They will change the meaning of what they said later to accommodate their position at the expense of your position.
Psalms 89:34 KJV 34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
Fourth, what God says is what you and I and our families need for our healing.
Read closely the various phrases of the next three verses.
Proverbs 4:20-22 KJV 20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
Fifth, the word of God quickens. Quickens means to make alive.
In the next verse, the soul of the Psalmist, continuously cleaved unto the dust. Dust is symbolic of death. This is a picture of how close to death we all are continuously. But notice what he said. He said, "Make me alive according to thy word."
Psalms 119:25 KJV 25 My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.
Sixth, this is the same thing Mary said when the Angel announced to her the birth of the Lord. Luke 1:38 KJV 38 And Mary said, "Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word." And the angel departed from her.
Seventh, we must continually say with our mouth these words, "Let the LORD be magnified, because he hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant."
How foolish for us to believe that God doesn't want us to prosper. He not only wants us to prosper, he also delights in it; He has pleasure in it.
Psalms 35:27-28 KJV 27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. 28 And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.
Finally, the Scripture below is the linchpin, the mainspring and the central core of all we've said so far. Say this Scripture out loud and you've said them all.
Romans 8:32 KJV 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Since God delivered his own Son for us all, is it logical or moral for him to refuse to give anything else to us? If so, this means God puts a higher price and value on the things he refuses to give to us than he placed on Jesus! This is nonsense. Of course he will give us all things since their total value is less than the value he placed on Jesus.
